The 0.29 carat, Natural Padparadscha Sapphire has moderate saturation and excellent clarity with no visible inclusions, and is a vibrant peach-pink color! Pictures have been magnified at 50x zoom to show details that may not be visible to the naked eye. The ring is clearly hallmarked 14K on the inside of the 2.00mm band. When worn, the top of the ring/stone is elevated about 4.50mm from the finger. The Padparadscha Sapphire is the rarest and most valuable Sapphire in the world. Finding these rare gemstones is nearly impossible. Padparadscha Sapphires are also one of the hardest gems in the world, second only to diamond, so you can be sure that this beauty will last for years to come. Sapphire is the birthstone for September and is the 5th or 45th anniversary gemstone. This rare and coveted sapphire is the symbol of peace and enlightenment. The name derives from the Sinhalese word padma radschen, meaning lotus blossom, as the stone is of a similar color to the lotus blossom.
**Currently a size 8 but could be sized, free of charge, by my master jeweler so that it is ready to be gifted or worn upon arrival! Most rings can be sized a maximum of 3-4 sizes up or down depending on the style of the ring. Please indicate your desired size at checkout and allow up to 10 business days for my local expert jeweler to complete sizing. I do not accept returns on items that have been custom sized or altered at your request so if you are unsure about an item it may be best to have it sized by your local jeweler just in case.
