The .48 carat, Natural Tsavorite Garnet has vivid saturation and excellent clarity with no visible inclusions and is a mesmerizing neon-green color! Photos are taken under professional lighting and are magnified at 50x zoom to show details that may not be visible to the naked eye. Accenting the rare gemstone is a single 1.25mm round cut, natural Diamond accent (1 total) that is H color with VS2-SI1 clarity and weighs .01 carats. The ring is clearly hallmarked 14K on the inside of the 1.75mm band. When worn the top of the ring/stone is elevated about 3.00mm from the finger.

Normally, these gemstones don’t receive any treatments or enhancements, which makes them very desirable to collectors and enthusiasts of natural gems. The shining green Tsavorite is a young gemstone with a very long geological history. Its home is the East-African bushland along the border between Kenya and Tanzania. The few mines lie in a uniquely beautiful landscape of arid grassland with bare, dry hills. Its dangerous country, the habitat of snakes, and now and then a lion patrols, on the lookout for prey.
