The 1.31 carat, Natural Merelani Mint Garnet have vivid saturation and excellent clarity with no visible inclusions and is a mesmerizing light-green color! Photos are taken under professional lighting and are magnified at 50x zoom to show details that may not be visible to the naked eye. Accenting the rare gemstone are 1.00mm round brilliant cut, natural Diamond accents (4 total) that are I color with VS2-SI1 clarity and weigh a combined total of 0.02 carats. The ring is clearly hallmarked 14K on the inside of the 3mm band. When worn, the top of the ring/stone is elevated about 5.5mm from the finger.

The Merelani Mint Garnet is named after its mining locality, the Merelani Hills of Tanzania. Its pastel green color is becoming more and more popular among collectors and jewelry designers. Unfortunately, fine quality Merelani Mint Garnets are getting very difficult to find as time goes on. One unique feature occurs when this gem is exposed exclusively to ultraviolet light, it transforms from its beautiful mint hue to the most striking pastel pink and Padparadscha orange glow.
**Currently a size 8 ½ but could be sized, free of charge, by my master jeweler so that it is ready to be gifted or worn upon arrival!
