This pendant necklace features an exceptional highly collectible solid 22kt gold 5 Yuan 1/20 Panda Coin pendant that is in exceptional condition. The center of the obverse is a depiction of The Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests located in the Temple of Heaven complex in Beijing. Chinese characters on top say "中华人民共和国", meaning the People's Republic of China and the bottom the year of issue (1986). The reverse shows portraits of a giant panda. Photos are taken under professional lighting and are magnified at 50x zoom to show details that may not be visible to the naked eye. The pendant is clearly hallmarked 14K on the pendant loop, and is hung on a 2.00mm thick, 14K solid gold (not hollow), 20” twist-rope chain necklace that is also clearly hallmarked 14K on the sturdy lobster claw clasp closure. When worn, the drop of the pendant is 30mm.
